Our Buttercream
Our Italian buttercream is made with fresh dairy and is used on all of our cakes and cupcakes. It is lighter than the American buttercream you’re probably used to, with a subtle sweetness and a smooth, creamy texture.
Cake Storage
For best flavor and texture let your cake rest at room temperature for a few hours before serving. Larger cakes and nut cakes may need additional time to warm up. Short on time? Cut your cake and let slices warm on a plate for 20 minutes before serving. If you will not be enjoying your Sugar Fixé cake on the day it was purchased, cover and refrigerate it.

*Allergy Considerations
All of our pastries are produced in a small kitchen with shared equipment. We use tree nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, and corn in many of our recipes. We do not use peanuts in our bakery, but it is possible that ingredients we use came from a facility that processes peanuts.
We have some recipes that are made without gluten, dairy, and/or tree nuts, and we take measures to prevent co-mingling of ingredients, but there is always a chance of cross contamination.
We pride ourselves on using all-natural ingredients in our recipes. The one exception is food coloring. While natural food colors are becoming more common, they don't yet provide the vibrancy and range of colors that our customers request. We are hoping to see improvements in the near future as food manufacturers continue to spend R&D on natural colorants.
